RENOVATIONS

LOOK WHAT WE HAVE DONE... Mortgage reduction campaign
a total of 44 pledge cards have been received! ! ! ! !
Total amount pledged: $140,029.00
Thank you for your support, your pledges are very much appreciated. The campaign was looking for $200,000.00 in pledges so if you have not pledged and would like to do so, there are pledge cards available on the registry desk in the foyer near the entrance. You may place it in an envelope, place it on the desk in the office or give it to Dave Lynch, Hope's Financial Secretary.

STILL NEEDED:
Updated list of items already purchased or NEEDED in and around the building:
Folding Chair Storage/Rolling Cart (approximately $300)
[there are two carts already, but they are hard to maneuver as they are too long.]
Metal chairs for Fellowship Hall & overflow (price varies $20.95 each & up)
[the current metal chairs are showing their age and wear/tear.]
HCS Advertising ($475 or $225)
Upgrade the men's restroom and restrooms near kitchen (no estimate yet)
Entrance Mats (approximately $350)

If you would like to contribute toward the cost (or part of the cost) of these items, you may prepare a check with the notation "additional needs" and specify one of the above items. A few of the items were purchased from the 2006 or current budget, as they were of an immediate need and – the money should be replaced.

MORE MAINTENANCE/WORK PROJECTS:

Workday on April 26 was a success. There are still many projects on the "honey do" list. This list is posted on the bulletin board in the hallway. Stop by the church anytime to repair, spread mulch/wood chips, power wash or paint. Please let the office know that the chore is complete AND on behalf of the Maintenance Chairperson, thank you very much!
Some items needing attention:
Stain the wood behind the cross (front of the building) stain has been purchased.
Sand and paint the registry desk.
Replace down spouts
Secure safe in counter's room
Need two ballast for light fixtures in hallway near the kitchen.
Fellowship Hall - change light bulbs, dust window wells, clean room dividers and reattache to the wall.
Branches to be removed and taken to recycling.
